HSD returns to the National Assembly for the 4th year
Once again this year, Hooked on School Days at the National Assembly was an opportunity to highlight the role of elected officials in motivating young people to stay in school and bring together numerous stakeholders working toward helping youth succeed.
Here’s an overview of the day!
Regional consulting authority kiosk in the National Assembly atrium
Representatives from the Réseau québécois pour la réussite éducative and several regional consulting authorities were on hand in the National Assembly atrium to talk about school perseverance and hand out green-and-white ribbons.
School perseverance cocktail
The 4th edition of the school perseverance cocktail at the National Assembly was attended by numerous elected officials, a variety of partners, and HSD spokesperson Laurent Duvernay-Tardif.

Adoption of a motion in the National Assembly to support school perseverance
On Tuesday, during HSD 2020, the Minister of Education and Higher Education, and MNA for Chambly, Jean-François Roberge, along with the MNA for Saint-Laurent, Marwah Rizqy; the MNA for Joliette, Véronique Hivon; the MNA for Sherbrooke, Christine Labrie; the MNA for Marie-Victorin, Catherine Fournier; and the MNA for Chomedey, Guy Ouellette filed a motion in the National Assembly of Québec to reiterate the importance of Québec MNAs encouraging all young people in Québec to stay in school and achieve academic success.
